Mulligan's Irish Pub is proud to present our resident traditional Irish Band, The Beekeeper's Cure.

The Beekeeper's Cure was started 6 years ago by Mick, Declan & Martin and have been playing in Mulligan's ever since with a variety of musicians. They now spend 9 months of the year in sunny Gran Canaria & 3 touring Ireland. The band take their name from a Swedish friend who worked as a beekeeper, and had the world's best hangover cure with fresh honey as one of the ingredients, so if you have a hangover, you need The Beekeeper's Cure!

 

Their first CD is now available, entitled "Out of the Dark, Into the Light", recorded in studios in Las Palmas. If you didn't get a copy while you were out here, you can buy one for 12 euros + p&p through this site if you have a PayPal account.

The Beekeeper's Cure are:-

	Kevin O'Sullivan Kevin is the most recent addition to the band, joining 6 months ago on guitar & vocals. He hails from Kilorglin in Co. Kerry & has been on the island for 12 years, on & off, also working in Holland & Germany.
	Declan Folan Declan, on the fiddle, is from Bunanadden, Co. Sligo. He's a previous all-Ireland Champion fiddler, & he's worked in England & Germany before coming to Gran Canaria.
